The story behind the project
Minerva is a Vancouver-based not-for-profit organization that supports women and girls across British Columbia. They provide support through leadership development programs designed to advance equity and inclusion. As their organization and offerings evolved, Minerva needed a refreshed brand and digital presence that clearly communicated who they are, what they do, and who they serve. The challenge was to engage multiple audiences, from youth to established professionals, without isolating any one group, while streamlining the user experience and improving internal content management.
White Canvas delivered a cohesive brand system and custom WordPress website aligned with Minerva’s updated identity. We focused on clarity, accessibility, and ease of navigation, guiding users toward relevant programs while maintaining an inclusive, welcoming tone. The project included branding, graphic design, photography, and social media assets, along with a simplified backend that empowers the Minerva team to manage and grow their content with confidence.
