As if we needed another excuse to indulge in sushi cones and super sonics, having the opportunity to work with JOEY Restaurant Group has been one of our favourite collaborations. We initially partnered with their tech team to redesign the UX/UI for their new payment app, JOEY Pay, which also led to the redesign of JOEY's concierge service (reservation booking system), and more. One extension was expanding this design structure for their sister restaurant, Local, into a payment solution app – Local Pay. Key features for both products included the ability for guests to quickly close their tabs on their own devices, make reservations, and add themselves to the waitlist. Working with JOEY and Local's brand systems, our goal was to keep the flows intuitive, simple, and functional.
