Park Place Seniors Living has been a valued client of White Canvas since day one, so when they approached us to refresh their corporate brand and re-do their website we were honoured and a just a little bit excited. Okay, we were really excited! Working closely with the Park Place brand for so many years meant we had a lot of pent up creative energy ready to go and this was our opportunity to do it. We began by refreshing the corporate brand and identity system by making a consistent logo structure for each of the 30+ locations. We evolved their brand colour palette to be brighter, more positive and bring energy to the Park Place family. The Park Place website was the largest in the White Canvas portfolio to date – over 50 pages of custom WordPress magic! Our copywriting team worked around the clock to collect imagery and information from Park Place locations across Western Canada, while our design team worked on a responsive design that was intuitive and user-friendly for an older audience base. We launched the Park Place website a mere 6 days before baby Riley was born (our Creative Director, Carly’s first-born), which was a timing miracle in itself.Visit Website
“White Canvas Design, through its Principal Carly Overs, has navigated Park Place through the difficult task of building a recognizable market presence. This has included developing a corporate brand structure for our own team to follow to achieve consistency in look and feel. This also required us to rebuild our corporate website, with over 50 individual site pages, so as to help guide and inform our consumer. This was a massive undertaking that required White Canvas to consult and co-ordinate with 40 of our internal leaders. This re-design was achieved on time and under budget, in large part due to Carly’s professional supervision.
Over the past five years utilizing WCD we have been appreciative of their creativity, responsiveness and depth of knowledge and expertise. Carly and her team have invested themselves into understanding our business, our mission statement and what is important to our clients. Collaborating with WCD has proven to have been ‘the right choice’. It is like having your own in-house design studio but without the overhead!”
