We’ve been working with VRS Communities ever since they asked us to create their branding, so when they reached out with the challenge of creating a unique brand solution for their new location, The Valorie, we were more than happy to help! Located in Veteran’s Village in Surrey, The Valorie shares its building with the Integrated Centre of Excellence for Veteran’s and First Responders, the Whalley legion, and Parc Centrale, so we needed to find a branding solution that paid homage to the location’s focus on veteran support, played well with the other brands – including the parent VRS brand, but still stood out. The result was a sophisticated wordmark and colour palette to give the Valorie an elevated feel. A special badge, in the shape of a geometric poppy, was also added as a brand element to honour our Veterans.
